resumo: an exploration of the themes of childhood, loss of youthful vision
and of human potential in the lyrics and music of Pink Floyd. We shall be
tracing these themes from Pink Floyd’s *Wish You Were Here *and *The Wall *back
to the English Romantic tradition, with special reference to Blake and
William Wordsworth. The presentation will be illustrated by images and video
clips of Pink Floyd's early days.
